Vespa World Days 2016 St Tropez France

The Vespa Club de France and its fellow clubs are very happy to welcome you to Vespa World Days 2016 St Tropez France Edition!

The Vespa World Days 2016 Edition will take place from the 2 to the 5th of June, in the Gulf of St Tropez. The Vespa Village will be ideally set up by the Mediterranean Sea in the lovely town of Port-Grimaud, in the holiday resort ‘Les Prairies de la Mer‘, in the Var region  between Marseille and Nice. The Gala Dinner will take place there as well.

 

Accommodation will be available either in bungalows or camping space. RV’s are also welcomed as they’ll find parking spots for rent as well. Furnished bungalows can host 4 to 6 people.

 

Only Vespa Club members can register – unless their Vespa Club is affiliated to a National Vespa Club.  Vespa World Club members can join in.  Please contact your National Vespa Club to be eligible for registration.

The ‘Full Entry’ option is now closed. On January 2016: each pre-registered participant will receive a confirmation email for his/her registration  as well as payment options (raffle …) Registration will be valid exclusively after payment through this sole procedure.From registration Nr. 1751 onwards, all existing registrations will AUTOMATICALLY switch to “LIGHT ENTRY” ones.ENTRY LIGHT (without gala dinner)

VWD 2016 Program

Friday 27th to Tuesday 31rst: arrival of vendors and technicians.

FULL entry : 75€ (limited availability)

LIGHT entry : 45€ (free entrance for kids under 14)

Registration opening on Dec. 19th 2015, 19:00 hrs.

Wednesday 1rst

– 2 pm: Vespa Village opening.

– 2 pm – 8 pm: welcoming of first participants.

 

Thursday 2nd

– 9 am: official opening of the Vespa Village.

– 9 am – 7 pm: attendees check-in and set up, Vespa tours and boat cruise registration check up, petanque contest registration.

– 9:30am: sightseeing (free) and tours around the Gulf (according to program and registration)

– Vespa Museum opened all day ‘1946-2016: Vespa’s 70th anniversary’ within the Vespa Village

– 8:30pm: musical evening

 

Friday 3rd

– 9am: opening of the Vespa Village.

– 9 am – 7 pm: attendees check-in and set up, Vespa tours and boat cruise registration check up, petanque contest registration.

– 9:30am: sightseeing (free) and tours around the Gulf (according to program and registration)

– Petanque contest in Place des Lices (St Tropez)

– Vespa Museum opened all day ‘1946-2016: Vespa’s 70th anniversary’ within the Vespa Village

– 8:30pm: musical evening

 

Saturday 4th

– 9am: opening of the Vespa Village.

– 9 am – 7 pm: attendees check-in and set up.

– 9:30am – 12:30pm: National Vespa Clubs meeting

-9.30-12.00: water shuttle market, Vespa tours.

– Vespa Museum opened all day ‘1946-2016: Vespa’s 70th anniversary’ within the Vespa Village

– 3-5:30 pm: beginning of the Concours d’Elegance, Quai Suffren in St Tropez.

Only the ones who registered for the Concours d’Elegance will be allowed to parade in St Tropez (1-2 Vespa per nationality).

– 8.30 pm – 10.30 pm: Gala dinner

-10.45 pm: award ceremony + official speeches + raffle

– 11 pm: 60s style gala evening (60’s outfit welcomed)

 

Sunday 5th

– 9 am: Vespa Village opening

– 9.30 am: Vespa Parade setting up per nationality, on Port Grimaud parking lot. (Flag waiver and costume)

– 10:30am : Vespa Parade departure ( 20 km long)

– Noon: Vespa Parade arrival in St Tropez : parking set up at ‘Mole Jean Réveille’ and ‘quai d’Estienne d’Orves’.

– Vespa museum in St Tropez (Salle J.Despas): ‘1946-2016 – the Vespa’s 70th anniversary’. Free entrance, open to the public.

– (Vespa booth and Piaggio animation for the 70th Vespa anniversary in St Tropez Place des Lices

– 3 pm: VWD 2016 Closing event
