Amerivespa 2016 Memphis Tennessee

Hosted by the Memphis Kings Scooter Club (MKSC), who host an annual Dead Elvis Rally.

Vespa Club of America (VCOA) is pleased to announce that the site of Amerivespa 2016 scooter rally will be in Memphis, Tennessee  on June 23 – 26, 2016. Jointly hosted by the Memphis Kings Scooter Club (MKSC), who host an annual Dead Elvis Rally. Their highly popular and well attended annual scooter rallies, which have attracted scooterists from as far away as Canada, Minnesota, Maryland, Texas and Florida,  provided them with the knowledge and expertise to host the Amerivespa 2016 Menphis.

Memphis is one of the nation’s premier tourist destination locations, known for its many attractions including Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley, and Beale Street, recently ranked by USA Today as the #1 Iconic American Street. Add to that world famous blues music, Memphis BBQ, and a geographic location that is easily accessible to a majority of the country, and you’ve got a recipe for an ideal location to celebrate and promote motor scootering in the USA.

VCOA is a non-profit organization whose members are dedicated to riding motor scooters, and is a society for people who share the passion of vintage and modern scooters. Approximately 70% of the scooters first sold in the United States were Vespas. However, many members also own Lambretta, Cushman, Heinkel, Zundapp, and other vintage makes and models, plus a large diversity of modern scooters. VCOA supports and encourages the use of the scooter as an energy-efficient vehicle and economical mode of transportation that conserves fuel, reduces traffic congestion, and treads lightly on the overworked road system. While its origins are rooted in the iconic Vespa scooter, the VCOA welcomes all scooter enthusiasts regardless of what they ride.
