International Female Ride Day (IFRD), celebrates women riders collectively while making a positive difference for women in motorcycling around the globe.
The “JUST RIDE!” event is celebrated annually worldwide on the first Saturday of May. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 14th edition of the celebration is moved to August 22.
Vicki Gray founded IFRD in 2007 with the aim of providing a platform for women scooter, motorcycle and tike riders to bond with other women. “To meet and find like-minded women who ride and develop friendships with which to enjoy motorcycling!” said Grey.
The female-powered ride is extremely popular with each year, more women participating in over 120 countries take on their motorcycles, scooters or trike’s.
