International Female Ride Day©, one day devoted to women riders, is a yearly global campaign devoted to women riders of all ages, who own, ride, or have access to a motorcycle or scooter. The globally synchronized event invites participation from around the world to simultaneously – just ride.
The event which originally took place the first Friday of March, will now occur on the first Saturday of March. The aim is to building awareness of female motorcyclists not with an organised ride but asking women to getting out there, on thier motorcycle, scooter or trike.
This campaign was introduced by Vicki Gray director of MOTORESS to ensure the growth of women in motorcycling.
The only request is that women get out on their motorcycle, scooter or trike and “JUST RIDE”!
