The 2017 Vespa World Days will be hosted by the town of Celle, Germany
The German town of Hamburg last hosted the event 17 years ago. This year Vespa World Days 2017 ( VWD ) returns to Germany with the event being held in the town of Celle from June 22nd – 25th. The small town with a big heart and a group of passionate Vespa drivers are looking forward to hosting the four day Vespa event.
Celle (German pronunciation: [ˈtsɛlə]) is a town and capital of the district of Celle, in Lower Saxony, Germany. The town is situated on the banks of the River Aller, a tributary of the Weser and has a population of about 71,000. Celle has a picturesque old town centre (the Altstadt) with over 400 timber-framed houses, making Celle one of the most remarkable members of the German Timber-Frame Road. More information….
The Eurovespa took place every year from 1954 to 2006 (with a break in the 70s), with the last Eurovespa in Torino, Italy in 2006. In 2006 the Piaggio group and the Piaggio Foundation created the Vespa World Club with the aim to promote, unite and coordinate all Vespa Clubs worldwide. In 2007 the event’s name was changed to Vespa World Days.
