The Scooter Cannonball Run is a timed scooter ride across America which takes place every two years.  It’s something for those who want to push themselves that little further, and the next one runs in 2018.

Wait, What’s the Scooter Cannonball Run?

This is a coast-to-coast ‘endurance’ event. Riders take some of the best riding roads in American, covering 1000’s of miles. There are rally points to collect throughout, based on your time, regularity, and distance along the way.

Why Would Anyone Do That?

Why you take part is completely up to you.  For many, it’s a way to raise money for charity. Others are in it for themselves, proving that they’re capable of completing the event.
It can be a race for some, but it’s not designed that way.  It’s more of one of those accomplishments that scooter riders love to say they completed.

What About the Age of Your Scooter?

The good news is you don’t need a new or large engine scooter to win. There was a “handicap” system in place in both 2014 and 2016. Chances are it will remain for future events.   The formula ensures everyone has an even shot at winning.

Where Will It Be?

The run changes route every year. You can check over previous routes and try them out to see if you’re up for the challenge. The 2018 route will be available through the official forum and site later in 2017, once it has been finalized. You can use the forum to discuss your wishes and see what other runners want to do.
