The 2018 Scooter Cannonball Run Has Started
The 2018 Scooter Cannonball Run began this past Saturday, May 26th in Morro Bay, California and will finish on June 4th in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
The Scooter Cannonball Run is a coast-to-coast ‘endurance’ event. Riders ride 1000’s of miles through some of the best roads in American. There are rally points to collect throughout, based on your time, regularity, and distance along the way.
The event can be a race for some, but it’s not designed that way. It’s more of one of those accomplishments that scooter riders love to say they accomplished.
There is a “handicap” system in place which ensures riders, regardless of the scooters engine size, have an even shot at winning.
The total distance of the recommended riding course will be approximately 3,900 miles with overnight stops in the following cities.
- Day 1 – Death Valley, CA
- Day 2 – St George, UT
- Day 3 – Bluff, UT
- Day 4 – Trinidad, CO
- Day 5 – Elk City, OK
- Day 6 – Mena, AR
- Day 7 – Tupelo, MS
- Day 8 – Etowah, TN
- Day 9 – Galax, VA
- Day 10 – Virginia Beach, VA
