Bel & Bel Zero-Scooter converts NineBot into Vespa Clone
Designer clothing for your NineBot which will deliver a genuine measurement of looks.
The Bel & Bel Zero-Scooter is not a metamorphosis of a Vespa scooter into a Segway, but a conversion kit for the Xiaomi NineBot inspired by Corradino D’Ascanio’s 1946 classic Vespa design. The Xiaomi built by NineBot, which merged with Segway, is a two-wheeled, self-balancing, battery-powered electric vehicle (A stand-on gyro-balanced scooter).
Even though Bel & Bel omitted a seat and re-positioned the wheels from inline to parallel, one look at the Zero-Scooter’s handle bar, head yoke, apron and the Vespa influences are evident.
The Zero-Scooter power comes from 55V 450Wh battery pack that nourishes the dual 1350W engine, reaching a top speed of 20km/h (12.5 mph) and can climb 20 degree gradients. Manufactured in Barcelona, the battery charges in 3-4 hours and can run a distance of 25-35km per charge. Maximum weight load is 100 kg (221 lb). The NineBot will retain its warranty even after installing the Bel & Bel Zero-Scooter kit, which comes with the unfriendly price of over $6500. On the other hand one can view the kit as designer clothing for your NineBot which will deliver a genuine measurement of looks.
Bel & Bel was founded in 2005 by designers Carles and Jesus Bel and is located in Barcelona in a farmhouse from the seventeenth century.
